The Member Registration Experience

Understanding what your members see during registration will help you configure your content and pricing more effectively. The process is divided into several logical steps.

Step 1: The "Join Today" Landing Page

Members start at /o/your-club-slug/crm/registrations. This page displays your Registrations Page Content and a list of all Active registration types.

Step 2: Choosing a Registration

When a member selects a registration type, they see your Welcome Content and a summary of the membership.

Step 3: Family Information

Members are asked to provide their family details.

  • If they are new, they create a family account.
  • If they are returning (and you've enabled "Requires Existing Membership"), they must log in first.

Step 4: Adding Members

Members enter the details for each person they wish to include in the membership (First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, etc.).

Step 5: Pricing and Calculation

The system uses your Pricing Scheme to calculate the total cost in real-time based on the number of members added. Any Fees you've configured are also displayed here.

The member is shown your Legal Content (Privacy Policy, Terms, etc.) and must check a box to agree before proceeding.

Step 7: Payment

  • Credit Card: Handled via a secure Stripe checkout.
  • Check: If you've allowed check payments, the member sees your Check Payment Instructions and their membership is marked as "Pending Payment."

Step 8: Completion

Once payment is confirmed (or the check option is selected), the member sees your Registration Complete Content. They are automatically sent a welcome email, and their digital ID cards become available in the member portal.


Note: If a member abandons registration before payment, their data is saved as a "Pending Registration" in your admin dashboard, allowing you to follow up if needed.
